In the fields of aerospace, biomedical, construction, and manufacturing, 3D printing technology has demonstrated its unique application potential. This article reviews its applications in customized medical implants, lightweight aerospace components, construction elements, and rapid prototyping in manufacturing, and discusses technical challenges such as material limitations, printing accuracy, and cost efficiency. In the future, the development trends of 3D printing technology will include material diversification, enhancement of printing speed and precision, expansion into new application areas, and integration with technologies such as artificial intelligence and the Internet of Things. At the same time, the potential of 3D printing technology in promoting environmental sustainability and resource efficiency will be further explored. The advancement of standardization and regulation will aid in the widespread application and industrialization of 3D printing technology, bringing revolutionary changes to the manufacturing industry.
