Research on Key Points Design of Wind Turbine Cover Structure
-
Abstract
The long-term stable operation of wind turbines and the delay of component aging are greatly affected by the wind turbine cover. This paper addresses issues such as rain leakage and high costs associated with wind turbine nacelle enclosures within the industry. Through extensive investigation and research, it proposes solutions to enhance sealing performance, reduce manufacturing costs, and achieve lightweight nacelle construction. This proposal provides a detailed exposition across two sections: key structural design considerations and practical application case studies. Research indicates that wind turbine nacelle enclosures retain significant potential for advancement in performance enhancement, modularisation, and weight reduction. Optimising composite structural component design, developing modular nacelle moulding techniques, and reducing composite material weight represent the primary developmental trajectories for wind turbine nacelle enclosures, offering valuable reference points for industry practitioners.
