Design of Dust Prevention and Control Device during Rapid Tunnel Excavation with Anchor Excavator

  • In view of the problems of large dust production and serious dust pollution during the rapid excavation of 2204 belt roadway with the all-in-one machine for digging and anchoring, based on the driving conditions of 2204 belt roadway, the main dust sources in the head-on area of the excavation were analyzed, and the dust prevention and control idea of “suppression, control, removal, and purification” was applied. The spray dust suppression system, the airborne dust control system of the all-in-one machine for digging and anchoring, and the mechanical devices for purifying the air flow were comprehensively optimized from various aspects, and the industrial application test was carried out. The results showed that after the comprehensive application of the above dust removal measures, the dust reduction efficiency of respirable dust at 5m from the return air side of the all-in-one machine for digging and anchoring was 86.5%, and the total dust reduction efficiency was 90.6%; The respiratory dust reduction efficiency at a distance of 5 meters behind the airflow purification mechanical device is 97.3%, and the total dust reduction efficiency is 97.7%, effectively reducing the amount of flour dust in the excavation work, improving the excavation environment, and achieving good application effects.
