Abstract
To address the shortcomings of the existing wired connections between devices in the coal-cutting tracking dust suppression system for shearers, such as the tendency for cables to be easily pulled apart, difficulty in installation, and challenges in later maintenance, this paper designs a coal-cutting tracking spray system for shearers based on wireless communication technology. The overall architecture of the system is designed, the shearer tracking and positioning technology is analyzed, and the spray control box is designed with particular emphasis. Furthermore, a simulation experiment is conducted to verify the spray functionality. The results showed that the spray system could reasonably open and close the electric ball valve according to the actual spray demand, achieving a better spray dust reduction effect. After the wireless communication technology was used in the equipment of the spray system, the equipment the spray system is easier to install and maintain, and the application effect is good. The dust suppression system has certain promotion and application value.
