Abstract
Based on the current technical status, existing issues, and future development trends of the coupling screw-on machine, this paper elucidates their significance in the petroleum industry. A design concept of fully automatic numerical control and automation operation is proposed to address the problems of high operating costs and difficult control of the quality of the upper and lower buckles in the traditional coupling screw-on machine process. The overall structure design scheme, working principle, main structural components, and performance parameters of a new type of large-diameter coupling screw-on machine are presented, with a focus on the implementation of key technologies such as intelligent control, precision transmission, and adaptive tightening. The impact of technological improvements on improving the quality and efficiency of petroleum pipe connections is analyzed, and the advantages of technological improvements are verified by combining the main parameters of new and old models. Finally, the future development trend of the coupling screw-on machine technology was discussed, providing reference for research and application in related fields.
